This page summarizes site-side processing relevant to analytics, cookies, and technical tooling. It does not replace the final legal review of the company privacy policy.
Meta advertising measurement (optional): share public page views, completed firmware downloads, successful installs (including updates), paid purchases, amount, currency and Facebook click ID with Meta to attribute and optimize ads. Uses _fbp and _fbc cookies for up to 90 days. Consent is separate from analytics and can be withdrawn in cookie preferences. Nothing is shared unless you select this box. Purchases are also measured from our server through Meta Conversions API, sharing your email as a SHA-256 hash to match conversions. Withdrawal cancels purchases not yet sent when our server receives it; offline requests are retried.

This notice covers the site, firmware download, license activation, recovery, referral portal, and related operational emails.
Depending on the flow, the service may process email, Program ID, payment metadata, language preference, technical events, and analytics identifiers only after consent.
Admin and referral portal sessions are used for authentication and security.
Strictly necessary browser storage: `goldenradio_lang` for selected language, `goldenradio_payment_confirmed` for checkout completion UX, and `goldenradio_analytics_consent_v1` to remember your cookie choice.
`goldenradio_download_email_v1` remembers for 365 days that you already entered your email at download (it stores the date and a download code, not the address).
The backend records technical and security-side events with hashing for IPs, emails, and Program IDs where applicable.
With analytics consent, optional product measurement uses a random browser identifier and a temporary event queue to measure verified radio connections, aggregate activity time and operation outcomes. It does not collect callsigns, locators, decoded messages, file names, WiFi credentials or licence identifiers. Backend events are retained for 395 days. Withdrawal clears the browser queue and requests deletion of backend product events and pending forwarding; an offline withdrawal is retried after reconnection. Events already sent to PostHog remain subject to the privacy policy. Product-tool pages are excluded from session replay and automatic click capture.

Browser-side PostHog stays disabled until you explicitly accept analytics.
Referral persistence and referral browser events are enabled only after analytics consent.
With analytics consent, PostHog also records browsing sessions (session replay) to understand how the site is used: form fields, displayed email addresses and device logs are masked, and admin, payment confirmation, redeem and licence recovery pages are never recorded. Revoking consent stops recordings and clears browser-stored referral identifiers.
To download or install the firmware we ask for an email address. We use it for service notices about the firmware you downloaded (legitimate interest) and keep it for 24 months after your last download. The download unlocks only after you confirm the address with the code or link we email to you. To detect fake addresses and abuse of the form we also keep the IP address it was submitted from, for 90 days (legitimate interest).
Only if you tick the optional box will you also receive firmware updates, news and offers (consent). Consent is not a condition for downloading. The subscription only becomes active after you confirm it through the link we email you (double opt-in), which verifies that the address exists and is yours.
We record the date, the consent text version and a hash of your IP address as proof of consent. Marketing emails are sent via Zoho Campaigns; service emails via the configured email provider.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to support@golden-radio.com.
In update and newsletter emails we measure opens and clicks through Zoho Campaigns, to know how many people read the announcements and update their firmware. Zoho processes this data only on our behalf, under contract, and neither uses nor sells it.
The frontend no longer auto-loads Google Fonts, third-party flag images, or YouTube thumbnails/metadata before user interaction.
External links to YouTube, WhatsApp, and driver resources stay plain links and do not trigger network calls until clicked.
