This guide covers both the GOLDENRADIO firmware installation and the EiBi database upload.
Installation happens directly from the browser, without downloading files to your computer.
Before starting, prepare your PC and make sure the radio is detected correctly.
Install the USB driver for your ATS25 chip (CP210x or CH340/CH341).
Use a USB cable that supports data transfer, not charging only.
Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Check Device Manager and verify the serial port appears (e.g., “CP210x … (COM3)”).
Connect the radio to the PC and open the official installation page.
Click INSTALL FIRMWARE and follow the on‑screen instructions. Wait for completion without unplugging.
Unplug and reconnect the USB cable. The radio restarts with GOLDENRADIO.
From the same page, click UPLOAD EiBi DATABASE and wait. The database will be written directly to the radio.
Quick fixes for the most common issues.
Check USB drivers and restart the PC if needed.
Use a data cable, close other serial apps, and try again.
Repeat the installation procedure from the web page.
For future updates, return to the same install page and repeat the procedure. The latest stable version will always be available.
