GOLDENRADIO user manual

The EiBi database is the list of shortwave broadcast stations in the world, edited by Eike Bierwirth: for each station it indicates frequency, broadcast time (UTC) and name. The radio uses it to show the name of the tuned station and for the list that can be called up by the button on the HF bands.

The page shows the total number of stations in the database and the list with frequency, time and name. The ONAIR switch filters the list showing only the stations that are broadcasting at the moment.

The database is updated by connecting the radio via USB cable to the EiBi Database page of the golden-radio.com website. Shortwave schedules change seasonally, so the database should be updated at least twice a year, coinciding with the change in season: late March and late October.
